We're coming back to Canberra this September 2026!

I’m so excited to announce that The Bubbly Type is coming back to the Handmade Canberra market in September! It will be an amazing shopping event full of wonderful handmade creations from lots of Australian independent businesses.

It was my first time at Handmade Canberra last March 2026 and it was a fantastic weekend. I enjoyed meeting so many new people and discovered lots of fellow creative souls also selling their hand made goods. I cannot wait to do it all again this September!

Come along and explore everything from sustainable fashion and handcrafted homewares to award-winning gin, gourmet food and unique gifts. It’s the perfect place to find something truly special, plus it’s all indoors!

This is also a fun, stress free time to start your Christmas shopping early! I won't be at the December Handmade Canberra market, so snatch up my cards, sun catchers, prints and more while you can shop in person.

WHAT TO DO IN CANBERRA IN SEPTEMBER?

Aside from the Handmade Canberra market, you might want to visit the spring flower festival called Floriade. The theme this year is ' Feast of Flowers' and I'm told there will be over one million flowers planted in Commonwealth Park. I'm definitely excited to check it out and get some inspo for new drawings.

Won’t make it to the market weekend in September? You can always shop online on the Handmade Canberra directory. It’s packed with 550+ Australian-made small businesses (including mine!) with links direct to their products.
